Craig has served with Youth for Christ for over 30 years holding senior leadership roles in both the domestic and international arenas. Additionally, Craig is as an accredited International Executive Coach and Trainer. In this capacity he works primarily internationally focusing on major turn-around efforts and growth strategy initiatives within NGO's.
Office Manager/Events Coordinator
Before joining the SOCO YFC staff, Deb was a business owner for over 8 years. In addition to providing graphic design and marketing services to local businesses, she has worked in the non-profit arena and with youth for over 20 years. She looks forward to the opportunity to volunteer as a coach/mentor meeting with young women who are incarcerated in local facilities.
Andy has been a vital part of Southern Colorado Youth For Christ for over 17 years. He has served in multiple capacities during his tenure including volunteering in music ministry, mentoring trouble youth, and acting as a small group leader. Before transiting to his current full time staff role Andy was as a member of SOCO YFC's Board of Directors and most recently served as Board Chairmen. Andy retired from the Air Force in 2001 and was with Lockheed Martin for 15 years prior to coming on staff at SOCO YFC.
Meet Our Board of Directors
Mr. Haynes has served in the United States Army in Special Services with two terms in Vietnam; started with The Navigators in a part time capacity since 1973; served as a tent maker in secular experience spaning 20 years in the credit card industry (CytiCorp, General Electric and Electronic Data System) coupled with 20 years as a US Presidential Advisor to five administrations for National and Cyber Security. He and his wife Cynthia moved to Colorado Springs, CO serving in a full time capacity with The Navigators as a Mission/Business Development resource. Steve works splits his time in two divisional ministries; US NavWorkplace and International Global Enterprise Network. Steve also conducts two ministries of his own; Faith@Work and The Network.
Dwight L. Johnson is a successful businessman, speaker, writer, and author who reaches out to others as a motivator and problem solver. He analyzes business, personal, and spiritual matters and passionately communicates what he has learned to others.
As chief executive officer of Sturgeon Systems, Inc. since 1977, Johnson has worked as a consultant specializing in strategic planning, finance, and networking. He also works with Christian Catalysts, Inc., a ministry with a mission to further God's kingdom through fundraising, sponsorships and promotion of events such as Men With a Purpose organizations, annual conferences, dinner, receptions, and golf tournaments.
Previous to heading up his own company, Johnson worked as CEO of Sturgeon Electric Company, a Denver-based electrical contracting firm serving the six Rocky Mountain states. For the Cross of the Rockies, the largest lighted cross in the world, Johnson won a first place Applied Lighting International Award from the Illuminating Engineering Society.
Active in the business and Christian community, Johnson is able to share his style of leadership-encompassing the whole person-on the many boards and professional organizations he works with including the University of Colorado; Fellowship of Christian Athletes; Citizens for Community Values in San Diego; YMCA; Youth for Christ; Colorado Ski Country U.S.A.; Young President's Organization; National Jewish Hospital; Prison Fellowship of San Diego County; and Promise Keepers Men's Ministry of California.
He holds a B.S. degree from the University of Colorado with a double major in Business Administration and Electrical Engineering. He was a commissioned line officer in the U.S. Navy and has authored articles in seven national publications on applied lighting techniques.
In his free time, he enjoys serving as master of ceremonies at a variety of events. He also enjoys golf, tennis, reading, snow skiing, hunting, horseback riding, and day hikes.
Susan Wilklow is the president of Wilklow & Associates, CPA PC. She received her B.S. in accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania before moving to Colorado. In 1989, she became a certified public accountant in Colorado. In 1996, Susan graduated from the University of Denver with her Master’s in Business Administration, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
Susan’s experience has come from working with Fortune 500 companies as well as privately held companies. In addition to her audit experience from her first job, she went on to work with Lincoln National, GTE and Ford. In 2003, Susan launched her private practice. Wilklow & Associates is now located in both Colorado Springs and Trinidad and services individuals as well businesses.
From a personal perspective, Susan has a wonderful and supportive husband, Stephen, and two daughters, Delaney and Morgan. Susan loves tennis and golf and their pets. She is actively involved in volunteering with her church, National Charity League and Youth For Christ.
John has been a board member since 2013. He graduated in 1973 from Seattle Pacific University with a degree in Political Science and Business. He and his family have resided in Colorado Springs since 1995 where he operates several quick service restaurants located throughout the Southern Colorado region. He and his wife Joy have been married for 41 years. They have two adult children; Nathan and Chad.
Stephen Clark is retired and is currently volunteering at the National Museum of World War II Aviation. He is responsible for volunteer coordination in the areas of Library Management, Artifacts Cataloging, Youth Activities.
In 2008 Steve began volunteering at Southern Colorado Youth for Christ and became a Board Member in 2007.
Steve was in the Information Technology area for 45 years and in his career experienced a wide range of responsibilities from a mail delivery person to a Director at a national telecommunications company. During those years he worked domestically and internationally to design, create and implement major financial, sales, customer support and manufacturing related computer systems.
From a personal perspective, Steve has a beautiful and supportive wife, Carin, and three sons, Tony, Jacob and Zane. Steve loves the outdoors, has a cabin in Colorado, an RV and is an avid kayaker. He is involved with and volunteers in several church related Biblical groups, the National Museum of World War II Aviation and Southern Colorado Youth for Christ.
